Having started as a Graduate Trainee in Volkart Brothers, a Swiss international company, Dhammika’s corporate career began in British American Tobacco and spanned across multiple cultures in four continents over 20 years. He was Regional Head of Operations/Supply Chain (VP) - Asia Pacific, Regional Program Manager-Africa & Middle East, Area Supply Chain Director - South East Asia, Operations Director - Singapore, Indonesia and Sri Lanka and had working stints in UK, USA and Belgium. He was also a member of Global Operations/Supply Chain Leadership team and the Asia Pacific Regional Leadership Team.

As a C-Level Supply Chain/Operations professional he led and supported enterprise level change initiatives in Asia Pacific, Africa and the Middle East involving Primary Supply Chain Modelling/designing, Factory Foot Print and Supply Chain Optimization, Multi-million saving productivity programs, S&OP design and implementation, Procurement Transformation, ‘new to the world’ products commercialization, Multi-market SAP implementation and M&A in simple to complex commercial regimes and Industrial environments.

He has lived and worked in UK, USA, Belgium, Canada, Singapore, Hong Kong, Indonesia and Sri Lanka in addition to covering Asia Pacific Countries and the countries in Africa & Middle East region.

Dhammika holds a Physical Science degree (BSc) from the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka. As a part of continuous self-development he obtained several post graduate certifications in Supply Chain, Operations, Human Resource and Project Management from different professional bodies/universities in Singapore, UK and USA. A competent Manufacturing/Supply Chain professional and a thought leader with good business acumen, he is well respected for delivering outstanding results in complex environments. He is a born 'Connector' with intrinsic ability to make connections and also a natural mentor.

He now lives in Toronto (Brampton), Canada with his wife. A avid reader, writer and an explorer of diversity with a variety interests, his passion for career guidance and people development has reached far beyond the commercial world.
