Carlos built a corporate career at British American Tobacco. Previously he served the Brazilian Army for 6 years as artillery’s officer. In a career that spanned nearly 42 years and started in Souza Cruz in Brazil, he held senior executive positions as Trade Marketing and Distribution Director and went on to serve on 3 Boards, work in fifteen countries and live in seven.
In more recent years, Carlos has also worked as an independent consultant, specialised in Trade Marketing and Distribution, prior to join InReach Global Consulting.
Most notably Carlos was a lead member or head of route to market projects across 4 continents mainly Brazil, Argentina, Hungary, Hong Kong, Taiwan, China, Canada, and South Africa, significant change projects in the secondary supply chain: Brazil, Argentina, Costa Rica, Hungary, Ukraine, Canada, China and South Africa. In his capacity as an InReach senior consultant, Carlos is working with large corporations developing their capacity to effectively optimise their route to market business dynamics.
Carlos holds a degree in Economics from the University of Unisinos, Brazil and an MBA from the Darden School of Management, United States. Clients appreciate Carlos most for his practicality and capacity to keep strategies and executions focused as well as his energetic, engaging and go for it style focused in generating results and adding value to the organisations.
Carlos is a Brazilian national, currently living in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil with his wife and 3 children. He is fluent in Portuguese, English and Spanish. He loves football, travel, Brazilian badminton, and is a determined student of Theology.
